Extreme Sailing Series - Day 3, Sète

In spite of another action packed day of penalties, collisions and high flying hulls, there was no change at the top of the leaderboard today, following seven further races on Day 3 of the Extreme Sailing Series, in Sète.
Groupe Edmond de Rothschild maintains its lead on 89 points, but the gap has narrowed, with The Wave Muscat and Oman Sail Masirah chasing on 85 and 81 points respectively.
A mid-leaderboard battle is also developing between fourth-place Groupama 40 on 66 points, Red Bull Extreme Sailing on 60 points and The Ocean Racing Club and Ecover, who each have 59 points.
Team GAC Pindar enjoyed its best result of the regatta so far, finishing second in race four, but remain in eighth place on 39 points.
