Day 2 – St Moritz Match Race
03 September 2010
Ian Williams, Team GAC Pindar’s World Match Racing Sailor, continued his impressive display into Day 2 of the St. Moritz Match Race, winning all three of his round robin races.
Following seven victories and just one defeat so far, Williams now tops the leaderboard ahead of fellow Brit Ben Ainslie, Team Origin and Mathieu Richard of the French Match Racing Team, both of whom have six wins and two losses.
With just four round robin races remaining for Williams, the event now moves into its third day and a step closer to crowning one of the twelve skippers, the ‘King of the Mountain’ on Sunday September 5.
