Team GAC Pindar’s World Match Racing sailor, Ian Williams finished runner-up to Mathieu Richard (French Match Racing Team) at the Korea Match Cup final, held in South Korea today. The result sees Williams move up to third from eighth place in the tour standings, after the third event of the 2010 World Match Racing Tour.

After three days racing, six wins and two defeats, sees Williams head the leader board in joint first place, alongside reigning World Match Racing Tour Champion, Adam Minoprio (ETNZ/BlackMatch Racing).

Former Double ISAF World Match Racing Champion, Ian Williams, heads to the Korea Match Cup this week with his Team GAC Pindar crew, for Stage 3 of the 2010 World Match Racing Tour.

Leading independent sailing company, Team Pindar, has joined forces with Dubai-based global logistics provider GAC, to form a ‘Team GAC Pindar’ entry in this year’s European Extreme Sailing Series, which begins in Sète, Southern France on 27 May, 2010.
